So, you’re considering having your campervan reupholstered?
How exciting!
It’s a real opportunity for you to put your own individual stamp into your van’s interior.
To Pimp Your Ride! But if you’re a fist time van owner, or you’ve simply never had a
recover before, the whole thing can perhaps be a little daunting.
One of the questions we get asked the most, aside from whether we can achieve a particular look and how much it’ll cost, is
“just how long will it all take and do you need to keep my van?”
Firstly, we don’t need to keep your van, we just need your seats. If that’s what you’re having recovered. Otherwise we need your bed. If we’re creating your rear seating / bed from scratch, then we’ll need to see your van and measure up, taking into account any “unusual” and unique shapes the interior of your van might have around the area the new upholstery is to go.
Once we have your seats and / or bed, or the measurements and you’ve decided upon your fabric type, colourways and decorative stitching, such as Bentley style stitching, we will then be able to give you an idea of when everything will be ready for you, but as a general guide it will usually be within a week to 10 days, but can often be a little quicker for smaller jobs, like just having your Rock and Roll done to match your front seats, instead of having everything in your van done at once.
